Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Kombinasi antara musik barat dan K-pop kembali mencuri perhatian. Corbyn Besson, penyanyi asal Amerika yang terkenal melalui boyband Why Don’t We, secara resmi meluncurkan single kolaborasinya bersama Tzuyu anggota TWICE dari Taiwan yang berjudul “Blink” melalui label BMG.

Dilansir dari keterangan tertulis yang diterima Liputan6.com, dalam waktu hanya dua hari, lagu ini langsung viral di berbagai platform. Video musiknya sudah mencapai 2,2 juta tayangan di Youtube dan berada di peringkat #13 Trending Music. Di Spotify, lagu ini sudah didengar lebih dari 1,3 juta kali, sementara di TikTok lagu ini sudah digunakan lebih dari 3.200 video yang totalnya mencapai 25,6 juta.

Corbyn menggambarkan lagu “Blink” sebagai sebuah duet yang memiliki nuansa groovy dan playful, menggambarkan momen ajaib ketika pandangan mata berubah menjadi cinta dalam sekejap.

“Rasanya seperti jatuh cinta pada pandangan pertama, tapi dengan nuansa yang lebih ceria,” kata Corbyn dalam rilis resminya.

“Proses pembuatan video klip di jalanan Seoul terasa sangat segar dan menyenangkan. Aku tidak sabar untuk melihat respons dari para penggemar,” ungkapnya. Kolaborasi ini juga menjadi tonggak penting bagi keduanya.

Sebelum menjelajahi karir sebagai artis solo, Corbyn Besson telah mengukir banyak pencapaian bersama Why Don’t We, mulai dari 5 miliar kali pemutaran secara global, dua single platinum, hingga dua album yang mencapai posisi 10 teratas di Billboard 200.
